July 21, 2005 My special guest was Max Mayfield from the National Hurricane Center/Tropical Prediction Center. We discussed the 2005 Hurricane Season. Also, how important it is to have a HURRICANE PLAN, and be able to execute your Hurricane Plan before it's too late!! Listen to the show, for the season will be starting to become active, and this may be our last chance to talk with Max!



Max has been a guest on the show numerous times. One of the past shows on July 29, 2004 when I had Max Mayfield, director of the National Hurricane Center on the show. We discussed how to be better prepared this 2004 hurricane season. We had over 22,000 server hits, and 670 continual listeners.
We also spoke with Max during Hurricane Ivan's landfall in the Florida Panhandle. Listen Now!

I also met and spoke with Max about the 2005 Hurricane Season at the Hurricane Awareness Tour. This was May 6, 2005, when it made it's last stop in Jacksonville, Florida. I met a lot of great people that day, and had some great interviews, and took some Pictures.


The past show on May 13, 2004 when I had Steve Lyons from The Weather Channel. We disussed the up coming 2004 Hurricane Season, and had a number of callers ask questions. We also discussed forecast models, and the bias's of particular model guidance.!
Steve also joined us on the End of the 2004 Recap Show. Dr. Lyons has been available throughout the hurricane season, and we thank him for his participation and knowledge!


The past show on September 15, 2004, when I hosted Hurricane Hollow's Eye on the Storm, we heard from Jason Kelley chief meteorologist from WJHG/NBC 7 Panama City to give us an update on the tornado that passed very close to the television station. This is one of two tornados that hit Panama City, Florida that day! Jason has been a caller to the shows offering his expertise on severe weather!

We discussed Hurricane Charley prior more then 24 hours before landfall!With 1815 listeners, and a number of callers. Thank you everyone for listening. With Hurricane Charley making landfall the following evening.

He is currently assisting in the effort to rebuild the levees in and around New Orleans. We will discuss the levee system that surrounds New Orleans and Southern Louisiana, and find out what is being done, and if the levee's can withstand another major hurricane.
