Site Gets an UpgradeThe Barometer Bob Show website has been overhauled just in case you didn't already know. The overhaul comes along with big plans to be announced throughout 2008. We will also discuss how you can help! Also, what is "Feed the Children" doing elsewhere in the world, and their preparations for the 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

NOAA Satellite Helps Rescue 23 in North Atlantic
NOAA?s Search and Rescue Satellite-Aided Tracking (SARSAT) system helped the U.S. Coast Guard rescue 23 people from a shipboard fire on the M/V Sea Venue 1,200 miles east of Cape Cod, Mass. SARSAT is credited with more than 22,000 rescues world-wide in its 26 years of operation.

Public Invited to Tour Hurricane Hunter
NOAA hurricane experts will travel aboard a NOAA WP-3 Orion turboprop Hurricane Hunter aircraft in a five-day, five-city tour of the Gulf Coast beginning Apr. 14 to raise awareness of the hurricanes that can and have threatened the region.
